H.E.I.M.A.T.
To what extent does photography, with its possibilities and limitations, have the privilege of offering the appearance of the place to its stories and suggesting latent meanings? Why are there spaces of greater or lesser interest? I am interested in reflecting on the possible answers and investigating the possible senses of the image and the represented place.
Highlighting certain topographical circumstances questioned the way I perceived the environment around me. Through these images I propose that we confront our spatial and territorial references critically. I try to open a door to symbolic universes, to containers of memories that connect us with real and imaginary events.
The trace, the traces of what happened, represent my interventions in this space; what is disconcerting is that my actions in the environment are reduced to perceptive experiences.
